Justice in Aging is excited to hire for two positions in California. We are creating a new position, Senior Attorney for California Policy or a Senior Policy Advocate for California, to advance our policy priorities in Sacramento. We also seek a Staff Attorney or Senior Staff Attorney to join our Health Team in Los Angeles, Oakland, or work remotely in California.

  • The Senior Policy Advocate or Senior Attorney for California will work with our California attorneys on administrative and legislative advocacy in Sacramento across our priority areas, including advancing our advocacy on California’s Master Plan for Aging. Any combination of applicable educational/professional credentials that will enable you to perform the required duties will be accepted including, but not limited to, a JD, Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree. 
     
  • The Health Team Attorney will join our respected and effective health team to ensure equitable access to health care and long-term services and supports for low-income older adults in California and nationally. A J.D. and current admission to the California bar is required.
